How DFW Job Bid works — all in one place.
How does it work?
A homeowner posts a job — photos, a description, their area, and either their price or a request for quotes. Pros respond with bids. The homeowner compares the bids and the pros' ratings, takes a bid — that bid becomes the contract — and rates the work once it's done. Posting is free for homeowners.
What can a pro do on a post?
Like it, or bid on it. There's no public commenting and no haggling on posts — every bid stays private between the pro and the homeowner.
Who can contact me privately?
Only the pro whose bid you accept — private contact comes with the contract. Before that, a bid can carry a short private message from the pro about the job's details; it travels with that bid, and only the homeowner sees it, right alongside the bid.
How do ratings work?
A pro's rating is built only from reviews of jobs they contracted through a bid on DFW Job Bid and completed. No contract, no review — and reviews can't be bought or posted any other way.
What badges can a pro earn?
Review badges — Top Rated, Five-Star Finisher, Repeat Happy Customers, and contract review counts — are earned from those contract reviews. Every profile also carries standing badges for the pro's service level and how long they've been on the platform. Pros who run their business on OPSBLEND² also carry the OPSBLEND² Pro badge.
How do areas work?
You pick your area when you post, the way classifieds work — just cleaner. Dallas–Fort Worth is live now; Houston, Austin, and San Antonio open next, each with its own feed under the same name. Your account, profile, and rating carry into every new area the day it opens.
What happens when I save a pro?
Saved pros live under Saved pros on your account page, ready for next time. On the pro's side, the customers who saved them show up as business contacts on their dashboard.
How do I add a photo?
Tap the spot where the photo goes — your profile circle, a pro cover, a feed avatar, or a job post's photo area — and pick a picture. There are no add-photo links to hunt for.
What does it cost?
Posting jobs is free for homeowners. What pros pay — the subscription and the fee on a contracted bid — is spelled out in the Terms of Service.
How do payments work?
Pro subscriptions and the fee on a contracted bid are billed through Stripe. The money for the job itself is handled directly between the homeowner and the pro — the platform doesn't process job payments yet.
When is the site down for maintenance?
Every Sunday night at 12:00 AM Central, the site shuts down automatically for maintenance — bug fixes and capacity checks — and comes back at full capacity.
